International Symposium on Ranaviruses

The Global Ranavirus Consortium organizes biennial International Symposia on Ranaviruses to facilitate communication between the diverse and international group of researchers and professionals that work on all aspects of ranavirus biology. The symposia are interactive and productive, and generally held in conjunction with other professional meetings. See past symposia pages for more information!

The 4th International Ranavirus Symposium to be held in Budapest from June 7th-10th, 2017. This meeting will be held in conjunction with the 10th International Symposium on Viruses of Lower Vertebrates (ISVLV) from June 4th to 7th. Please see the conference website for more information.

We are looking for Proposals to Host the  2019 International Symposium on Ranaviruses! 

Proposals should be <2 pages of written text (2.5-cm margins, 12-pt font, single spaced), with up to 3 pages of supporting appendices (e.g., photos of venue, draft schedule). Please submit proposals to Dr. Amanda Duffus (aduffus@gordonstate.edu) by 11 November 2016 at 17:00 hrs Eastern Standard Time (USA). Proposals will be reviewed by the GRC Board and a decision made for both symposia by January 2017.
